Retail/Studio assistant - full-time

This is an excellent opportunity to work behind the scenes in a floral company. The position is entry level full-time position Tuesday-Saturday with some evenings for events’ set up and breakdown. The position requires 40 hours per week. The job tasks include but are not limited to flower intake and processing, plant care and maintenance, packaging orders for delivery, taking phone orders, maintaining store floor design, greeting and assisting customers, maintaining organization and light cleaning of design space, completing deliveries and assisting designer. During events the Studio Assistant will be asked to be “on hand” logistics, for set up and break down. Our ideal candidate will be motivated, organized and willing to “pitch in” for a busy floral company. While this is not a floral design position the candidate may be considered for a floral training position after a 6 month period.

Floral Designer - full-time

This opportunity is for an experienced floral designer. This is a full-time position requiring a schedule of 40 hours per week working Wednesday-Saturday including some Sunday additional hours during the wedding season. The ideal candidate will be open minded, creative and able to demonstrate floral design skills in a variety of styles.  Formal training from an accredited program is preferred. Projects include, providing outstanding customer service, assisting clients with floral and accessory product selection, resolving customer's questions and concerns, taking an active role in maintaining and developing existing and new client relationships, participating in daily set up and break down of store, contributing to the consistent maintenance and refreshment of product merchandising, designing floral and plant product, processing of florals and completing floral orders, execution of event pieces, delivery, set-up and breakdown of events. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Experienced Horticulturalist/Gardener - full-time

We are seeking hardworking experienced gardener/horticulturalist or recent graduate of a horticultural program with hands on fine gardening experience. Applicants must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions completing landscape duties such as garden assessment, maintenance and clean up, debris removal, weeding, planting, mulching, pruning, trimming and raking. Full time, all year position. This is not seasonal position. Appreciate willingness to work longer hours. Monday-Friday some weekends. Creativity and plant knowledge is a plus.

Key qualifications:

  • Drivers license with clean driving record

  • Able to walk, stand, kneel, bend and to lift 50 pounds for extended periods of time

Marketing and Social Media Intern

This is a part time intern position for approximately 8-10 hours per week. We are looking for a detail oriented creative person to move our marketing and social media initiatives forward. The ideal candidate will have a formal background in marketing and social media training. Sales & Design Consultant

This is a Full-time position 40 hours/week - Tuesday-Saturday.

As a Sales & Design consultant, you will be responsible for understanding clients’ needs in order to offer the best service for sales. Under the supervision of the store manager, the Sales & Design Consultant will be the brand ambassador from greeting and presenting the Petit Jardin collections, to closing orders and following up the purchase process with your clients. Additional marketing outreach and event planning for in store events needed.

Required Skills and Personal Attributes:
